Create and manage permission levels

A permission level is a saved set of permissions you can give to many people at once. Graysync comes with Employee Level, Finance Level, High Management Level, Manager Level and Organisation Owner, and you can create your own.

Click the apps menu (the grid icon) and choose Permissions. Each level shows its name, a description, how many permissions are switched on (for example 42/115), when it was created and how many users have it.

1. Click Create New Permission.
2. Choose Create New Permission to start blank, or start from an existing level: Organisation Admin, High Management, Manager, Employee or Finance.
3. Enter a Permission Name and a short Description of who it’s for.
4. Work through the tabs and tick what the level can do.
5. Click Add Permission.

Use the menu (⋮) at the end of a row. Check the user count first – changing a level changes it for everyone who has it.
