Create and send an invoice
The Invoicing page
Go to the finance menu in the top bar and choose Invoices. The totals at the top show Total Invoiced, Total Draft, Total Awaiting Payment and Total Overdue. Each invoice shows its number, scope, organisation, customer, who it’s billed to, issue and due dates, and the amounts invoiced, paid and outstanding. Overdue dates are shown in red.
Start a new invoice
- Open the finance menu and choose Invoices.
- Click New Invoice.
- Choose how to build it:
- Create a Blank Invoice – add your own line items.
- Time & Expense – create an invoice from logged time and expenses.
- Using Scope – choose a client and an approved or pending scope. The scope total is shown before you create it.
- For this example, click Create next to Create a Blank Invoice.
- Choose the Client. Bill to, the Invoice Number and the currency fill in for you. Check the Date Of Issue and Due Date, and link a Scope if the invoice relates to one.
