About Born Creators
Born Creators Group is a global collective of independent agencies, headquartered in Sydney with teams across APAC and the Middle East. Its agencies include Adcreators, a creative and performance marketing agency, and Social St, the group’s social and content agency.
The challenge
Running a group of agencies means running several businesses at once. Each agency has its own clients, projects, team, currency, tax rules and pay cycle, and leadership still needs one clear picture of how the whole group is tracking.
When every agency keeps its own tools and spreadsheets, that picture has to be pieced together by hand – and it’s usually out of date by the time it’s finished.
Every agency in one place
In Graysync, each agency is set up as its own organisation, with its own settings in the Admin Console: currency and tax rates, numbering, branding, leave policies and public holidays. Organisations can also be brought together into groups, so leadership can look at one agency or the whole group without switching systems.
The same organisation filters run right through Graysync, from Users and Hiring to Requests and Tools & Access, so anyone can narrow a list to the agency they’re working on.
People and payroll across countries
The Payroll dashboard shows the group’s last payroll split by organisation, with each organisation’s country, total payroll for the year and next pay run date. Pay is worked out from each person’s profile – their compensation, pay schedule and holiday calendar – so every team is paid by its own rules. People who work across agencies have an FTE split that shows how their time is shared.
The right access for every team
With several agencies under one roof, not everyone should see everything. Permission levels such as Employee, Manager, Finance, High Management and Organisation Owner control what each person can see and do, area by area, so a team lead sees their projects while finance sees the numbers across the group.
