Manage pay details and payslips
Where pay comes from
Graysync works out each person’s pay from the Compensation on their profile: their pay type, gross annual base salary, the date it takes effect, the total package including super, any recurring allowance or deduction, their super fund and their tax file number. If someone works across organisations, FTE Split shows how their time is shared.
Change someone’s salary
- Go to People → Users and open the person, or click the menu (⋮) on their card and choose Manage User.
- Choose Job.
- Click Edit on Compensation, update their pay and set Effective from, then save.
The animation below walks through these steps.
Pay schedule, hours and holidays
- Employment Type – the employment type, work pattern and Pay Schedule, for example monthly.
- Working Hours – hours per day for each day of the week, and whether the week starts on Monday or Sunday.
- Default Holiday Group – the public holiday calendar that applies to them.
Click Edit on any card to change it.
Bank details
Net pay goes to the account in Bank Details on the Job tab: the bank name, account name, BSB and account number.
Check what they were paid
Go to People → Payroll, open the organisation and click a pay run to see each person’s earnings, tax, super, reimbursements, deductions and net pay.
When someone leaves
Open the person’s Security page and click End of Employment. They won’t appear in pay runs dated after their termination date, and you can still see their past records.
