Run a pay run

Before you start

You need payroll permissions to run payroll. Pay is worked out from each person’s compensation on their profile, so check that salaries and bank details are up to date first.

Start a pay run

  1. Go to People → Payroll and click the organisation.
  2. Check the totals at the top: earnings, taxes, superannuation and net pay, plus the pay frequency, pay period and next pay day.
  3. Click Add Pay Run to start the next one.

Further down, Pay Runs lists every pay run with its period, payment date, earnings, tax, super and net pay.

Check each person’s pay

Click a pay run to open it. You’ll see how many employees are included, the pay period and the payment date. The table shows each person’s earnings, tax, super, reimbursements, deductions and net pay, and when their pay was last edited.

The animation below walks through these steps.

If someone’s pay looks wrong

Pay comes from the person’s profile. Update their compensation on the Job tab of their profile and check the pay run again. See Manage pay details and payslips.

Open Reports from the organisation’s payroll side menu to see payroll reports.
